Thick Puffy Chocolate Chip Cookies
My son loves these cookies
I thought I would share this comfort food
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups All-Purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon Salt
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup ground walnuts, optional (I didn't add any)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F
Cream sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs together
Combine dry ingredients, then slowly incorporate them into the wet ingredients
Stir in the chips and nuts (I didn't add nuts)
I used a 1/8 (scoop shaped) measuring cup
Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
Bake for 12-14 minutes
It made 2.5 dozen cookies
2 3/4 inches in diameter & 3/4 inch thick

I love these cookies and a year ago I discovered I am gluten sensitive so I would sub the flour with rice flour. They are sooooo good.
